What do I need to do?
Buy your item, proceed to the Checkout page, and select the delivery method - Click & Collect Discovery Museum. The delivery charge will be removed from your order. Then complete the billing address and payment sections. We will email you when the item is available to collect, usually the next working day.
Is there a charge for Click & Collect?
There is no additional charge for Click & Collect
What products can I have delivered to store?
Most of our products are available for Click & Collect, unless stated. This is because some of our products are just available at that venues and we usually transfer them to Head Office to be send out.

Where do I collect my order from?
All Click and Collect orders will be available for collection from Discovery Museum shop,
Newcastle upon Tyne
How long will it take before I can collect my order?
Orders placed before 3pm will be ready for collection from 10am the next working day. You can collect your order from the Discovery Museum shop any time during opening hours which is open daily 10am – 4pm Mon-Fri, Sat & Sun 11-4pm .
You will receive an email confirming when your order is ready for collection. In the unlikely event the item(s) you ordered is not available, we will contact you immediately.
You will be required to sign for your order on collection.
My order is ready to collect, what will I need to bring with me?
When collecting your order you will be required to bring a valid photo ID and a copy of your order confirmation. We will accept a printed copy or you can show us a copy of the email confirmation on your phone or tablet.
Can someone else collect on my behalf?
If someone is collecting an order on your behalf they will need to bring a valid photo ID and a copy of your order confirmation. They will be required to sign for your order on collection.
How long do I have to collect my order?
Click & Collect orders will be kept for 15 days from order date. After 15 days your order will be cancelled and you will be refunded the full order value.
What if I arrive to collect my order and don't want it anymore?
You will be able to return any Click & Collect order for a full refund within 30 days of collection. Leave the item with the Discovery shop staff then contact the online shop for a refund.
Can I change my order to Click & Collect?
If you need to change the original delivery method selected, please contact the online shop on 0191 2772165 or email us as soon as possible. Online shop opening hours are Mon - Fri: 9.30am - 5pm.
