Returns
We're committed to selling high-quality products but we also know that there may be a time when you need to exchange or return something you've bought. Please make sure that you check your items carefully before they are used. We also recommend that you keep your receipt (enclosed with the goods) and order number, which can be found on your emailled order confirmation, as you will need it as proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales queries.
If you need to return a product purchased from Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums then you have 28 days to do so. The returned goods must be in a resalable state and should also be returned with their original box, packing and accessories. We're sorry but some items like earrings can't be exchanged or refunded for hygiene and safety reasons, unless they're faulty. If the return is due to missing or faulty parts then we will offer a replacement or full refund provided we are aware of this within 28 days.
