A beautiful butterfly makes a unique and thoughtful gift or marker of a special occasion or event. Butterfly donations also support the work of the Great North Museum: Hancock to create powerful learning experiences and extraordinary visits for everyone.
- £30 could help to fund the cost of a sensory bag for children visiting the museum with special educational needs.
- £100 could provide four free Museum mice sessions led by our Early Years specialist.
- £250 could fund the museum opening two hours earlier than usual for an Autism Friendly Relaxed Early Opening.
Donating a butterfly is easy, quick and will make a lasting impact to the work at the Great North Museum: Hancock.
Once you have donated you will receive a confirmation email from our Development team with information regarding your donation and when your butterfly will be available to view.
If you require any further information or would like to speak to a member of our Development Team regarding your Butterfly donation please contact Catherine Kirkham on 0191 2772173 or firstname.lastname@example.org
If you're a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your donation by 25% at no extra cost to you.
Thanks to the Government's Gift Aid scheme, for every £1 you give us, we can obtain from HMRC an additonal 25p from the tax you pay each tax year.
By selecting 'Yes' you confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference to HMRC.
